Is The Media's "iron curtain" descending over B.O.'s birth story?

I thought the Soviet Union had collapsed.  I remember a long-ago history lesson where Winston Churchill coined the phrase "an iron curtain has descended" in a speech made to Parliament.  This was after the post-war Soviet takeover of Eastern Europe kept those nations from hearing news of the West. 

It should now become blatant that our American news media cannot and will not touch the birth story.  Reflect for a minute.  Doesn't it seem odd that we Americans living in the "land of the free" must go to the U.K. Telegraph today to read what is happening in our own country?  The latest on it is here:  http://t.co/VtPZNOvB

Such a thing, happening in my lifetime makes me want to keep working for His kingdom (That's Christ)  And there are two kingdoms that war against each other.  The media has chosen to hide this story in darkness.  Thus is the power of darkness.  The Two Kingdoms is a theme that we have been discussing at our regular small-group meet-ups. The topic reaches back into the centuries of empires that have come and gone.

I believe we Christians must be informed, so pray for our leaders, pray for America, and learn our history and the trends and the political weather map.  Yes, I know it's in God's hands and it is His will.  I know that.  But I believe Christians should be energized and not so laid-back and apathetic because like a storm on the horizon, our tests will eventually be upon us.  Prepare your hearts.  More to come.
